When I print only directory names, how can I stop Directory Printer from printing the folder name twice?
Last Updated a year ago

The second printing of the folder name at the end of its contents is caused by the Print Folder Footers function.

The Folder Footer would contain the total file count and total size of all the files in the folder if you were including that information about the folder in the print, but if you're not including that information then that footer is just extra noise, isn't it?

Example -- When Print Folder Footers is checked:

The output is like this:

But when Print Folder Footer is not checked:

The output is like this:

If Print Folder Footer is checked, and you have asked to include Folder Size and Number of Files:

Then the output is like this (below). The first time the folder is listed, the Folder Size and Number of Files includes only the files in that folder itself. It does not include the total size and number of all the files in the sub-folders that branch down from there. The second time the folder is listing, it includes the summation of all the file sizes and counts of all the files in the folder itself and in all the sub-folders below.

I hope this helps.
